HVAC Project Intern

We also supply after-market parts and supplies and pride ourselves on being a technical resource in the commercial HVAC industry. Enhance your understanding of mechanical engineering through involvement with commercial HVAC projects. You will help our staff with research and documentation. Each project is unique, allowing you to see varied applications of HVAC principles. This opportunity has potential to move to a full-time position.

Education Requirements
- Currently, or planning to pursue education in Mechanical Engineering, or a construction-related field.
Duties
- Review job specifications for pertinent details and approvals.
- Do job take-off from mechanical blueprints.
- Assemble and submit shop drawings, O & M Manuals and documentation for projects.
- Monitor and document status of jobs, orders and ship dates.
- Communicate with customers on the status of various jobs and orders.
Skills
- Solid computer skills, to include Microsoft Office, working with PDF documents, internet and email navigation, and file management.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Positive attitude and ability to maintain good relationships with customers, contractors and coworkers.
